Bomba Records' new kid on the block, Rares Finatan really made jaws drop as he debuted on the label with his enchanting and uplifting tune, "In Spite of Nothing".
It was one blissful Monday morning when our inbox received a promotional mail hailing all the way from Russia. As we opened it, the mail contained information about the artist and a corresponding download link for press-purposes. We downloaded it and played it. As the first few seconds of "In Spite of Nothing" went by, nothing could really describe the blissful uplifting feeling the tune had brought about to us. Its high-flying arps combined with its very fragile and melodic samples really made things very emotional.
As the track had slowly drawn to an end, a mind-levitating feeling still remained, and it was akin to a feeling of flying above the clouds while overseeing the blue ocean. . .
