Savvas Karabinos is known for his deep and elegant sound-- a sound he had perfected even when he was still in Chicago. Having had huge success with his debut appearance on Sophisticate Recordings,"Blue Chords", Savvas ventures further into the deep with his "Autumn Reverb" release on UK-based deep house label, Etoka Records!
Sounds Like:
Deep and laid-back atmosphere is quite evident not only in this release, but in the releases of Savvas in general. The first track, "Autumn Reverb" specifically caters an intricate combination of groovy bass, smooth and subtle plucks, and echoing female vocal samples. For a much livelier yet still a deep take, Savvvas presents the second and last track-- "Astraea". "Astraea" is for listeners who like deep-tech house with a dash of elegant interplay of soaring synths, reverberated atmospheric pads, and delicate plucks.
Recommendation:
"Autumn Reverb" is definitely a release of pure quality that brings together the deep and the elegant. Between the two tracks however, "Astraea" is our favorite pick. This is exciting-- "Autumn Reverb" just makes us want to look forward to the future releases of Savvas!
