Deep Spelle- Wet Road EP

Friday, July 29, 2011

1. Wet Road feat. Gee
2. Wet Road feat. Gee (Helly Larson Remix)
3. The Way You Treat Me feat. John Juster
4. The Way You Treat Me feat. John Juster (HouseRiders Lovin' the Way Mix)

Just three days ago, the highly-anticipated fourth release on Denmark-based deep house label, DeepWit Recordings just saw light! We are, of course, talking about "Wet Road", a four-track release from French Quebec-based producer, Brice Martin-Spelle aka. Deep Spelle. In addition, DeepWit made sure that this package would get a decent set of remixers, and that is where the seasoned Helly Larson and the duo HouseRiders would come in! Take a deep breath because "Wet Road" will definitely take you deeper than you can ever imagine!

The first track we listened to was "Wet Road", and it really set the mood for this release. Take a track by Sebastian Davidson and Vincent Casanova, and inject multiple layers of hazy atmospheric pads-- you would get something like the original mix of "Wet Road". The Helly Larson Remix, on the other hand, lessens the atmosphere and adds more groove to the track. Both the original and remix versions of "Wet Road" are of pure quality, be sure to support both!

"The Way You Treat Me" comes in two variants, the original and the HouseRiders remix. The original also embodies Deep Spelle's lush deep sound, plus the subtle saxophone melodies that had been flawlessly incorporated in the track-- this truly is a deep house masterpiece. HouseRiders, a project by Deep Spelle himself and Jeff Fontaine, also put together a special remixed dubbed as "HouseRiders Lovin' the Way Mix" for the last track of this release.

Does this last track give "Wet Road" the heightened close this release deserves? Check it out for yourselves, and send us some feedback!

Josef Belani- Aurora / Dom

Thursday, July 21, 2011

Last week, Spain's 19-year old producer, Josef Belani showed the world what he is capable of. His release, "Aurora / Dom EP" stomped listeners with its massive sounds, and thanks to Nellie Recordings, a Sweden based progressive house label, Josef's sounds have reached millions around the globe. It is of much pleasure to be writing this review for one of the scene's upcoming artists, Josef Belani!

Kicking off with a bang, "Aurora" puts on a show with a heartwarming piano-led drop, while following it up with some high-energy riffs. If you, however, think that you still crave for more banging big-room energy, wait for the second track!

"Dom" is next. A massive floor-filler, "Dom"  seriously embodies the sound we have been exploring this year-- colossal, crowd-pumping, and simply genial! Aside from which, this second and last track is also the type of track that when played in a rave, raises the hands of people and let them play keyboards in the air.

So yes, "Aurora / Dom EP" is out now on your favorite online record stores. Be sure to support this release because Josef Belani  is the future of the big-room progressive house scene-- and we are certain of that!

Summit” is the perfect soundtrack for a sunny Saturday morning. Upbeat, uplifting, and full of emotion, “Summit” truly marks a new phase in Audible’s unrelenting journey to finding the world’s most melodic sounds.

Novikoff- Aeroplane

Wednesday, July 6, 2011

The return on Green Mono Music Studio of Novikoff Nikolay has long been awaited! As he marks his comeback since his release “Squirm”, Russian producer and DJ, Novikoff takes-off with two bass-bombarding deep-progressive tunes as released in “Aeroplane EP”!

First, we have “Aeroplane” to set things in motion. Novikoff departs from his usual edgy tech sound as he gives us a hint of his brand new massive sound. Well, of course, that word “massive” sums all aspects of the track: ground-shaking kick drums, loud bass, and a big-room vibe!

Give “Aeroplane” a techy and club-oriented make-up, you would get something that sounds like the second track, “Delicate”. A mean green track at your disposal, “Delicate” brings the whole release to a heightening close!

Strap on your seat belts, and prepare yourselves for one bumpy ride because Novikoff just released “Aeroplane EP” on Green Mono Music Studio!

Free download with compliments from Green Mono Music Studio!

Claes Rosen- Chimera / Stranded

Tuesday, July 5, 2011

The Swedish Man of Melodies has finally made his appearance on Macarize, and of course we are referring to the one and only Claes Rosen! Claes has been in the scene for roughly six years, and it is because of his unmatched talent as L-Wiz and as himself that gained him the respect of thousands of listeners from Sweden to Russia. As a progressive house producer, Claes Rosen’s sound has always been characterized to be upbeat and sun-drenched.

Chimera / Stranded”, Rosen’s debut on the Swedish label Macarize, brings to life two ear-candies that embody his trademark happy-go-lucky vibe. “Chimera” takes us on a high-flying journey with skyrocketing melodies and progressions. While “Stranded”, on the other hand, lays low while it brings together soothing and echoing leads.

With “Chimera / Stranded” as the latest release on the label, Macarize is simply honored to have The Swedish Man of Melodies on the team!

Alvaro Hylander- Cream Soda

Saturday, July 2, 2011

1. Cream Soda (Original Mix)
2. Cream Soda (Blakkat Remix)
3. Stop (Original Mix)
4. Stop (The Messenger Remix)

The revolution for a noncommercial yet innovative deep house sound sees new light with DeepWit Recordings' latest release, "Cream Soda" by the label's very own Alvaro Hylander. Together with partner-in-crime, Sierra Chandler, Alvaro brought to life DeepWit Recordings to serve as one of the scene’s epitome for deviant deep house music. As the fourth installment on the label, “Cream Soda” features the organic sounds of Alvaro Hylander as well as the suave sounds of Blakkat and The Messenger.

Within the first few seconds into playing the original mix of “Cream Soda” one can already feel the organic but groovy vibe of the track. According to Hylander himself, “Cream Soda” is a track made back in spring in anticipation of summer, and he was inspired to put together simple melodies that embody the sexy warm vibe of summer. Onto the hands of Blakkat, Mark Bell, one of the veterans in the industry, “Cream Soda” turns into a lush and funky soundtrack that serves as an excellent alternative to the original!

Side B of this release is “Stop”, a deep-drenched track available in two versions: an original version from Alvaro and a remix from The Messenger. On to the darker side of Alvaro’s productions, “Stop” is one of your ideal midnight deep house tracks that puts together deep atmosphere and sweeping hi-hats. The Messenger, a music project by Maria Jones and Joel Heim, also celebrates this release with a remix on “Stop”. Their reinterpretation in three words is fresh, groovy, and deep!

Alvaro Hyalnder’s “Cream Soda” is out now, be sure to take part of this revolution by properly supporting this release brought to you by DeepWit Recordings!
