Lea D- Black Soul

Thursday, January 6, 2011

"Black Soul"-- the spoken-word deep house tribute to Martin Luther King Jr.-- is Lea D's  latest from In Deep Records. Lea D is the guise used by Baradero-based producer Leandro Dutra who cites deep house, progressive house, and tech house music as his forte. His crafts, moreover, have landed on various labels which include Witty Tunes and Proton Ltd., among others. "Black Soul" comes in three variations-- the original from Argentina's Lea D, and two high-profile remixes from Estonia's Ricky Inch and Russia's Evren Ulusoy.

Black Soul (Original Mix)
Lea D's craft caters dusky atmosphere that perfectly blends with its strong head-nodding stabs and ever-inspiring recording of one of MLK Jr.'s declamations. Superb track right here!

Black Soul (Evren Ulusoy Remix)
Evren Ulusoy constructs a more dance-floor-oriented tune with dubbed vocals and punchy stabs. The breakdown also caters an array of soothing flanged melodies that adds more dance-value to the track.

Black Soul (Ricky Inch Remix)
Ricky Inch-- a well-respected deep house producer hailing all the way from Estonia-- kicks off the last track on the release with his chic interpretation of "Black Soul". This remix caters soulful house elements topped-off with a dash of saxophone samples!
