Jim Ross- Morning Glory

Friday, February 25, 2011

Aside from the Canada-based Dezire Records having their own new website and their new sleeve designs, the guys on the label have something new to show-- "Morning Glory" by Jim Ross.

The track "Morning Glory", only being the one in this release is sounding quite a bit different from the previously-released tunes on Dezire Records-- it contains strong infectious head-nodding stabs landing somewhere between tech house and progressive. Not just that, its breakdown, akin to that of a trance track, yields some tranquil atmosphere followed by some starry melodies.

"Morning Glory", released under Dezire Records, is out now. If you enjoyed this release like we did, go and support this today!

Junkdna- Thank U / JunkFunk

Saturday, July 10, 2010

Mike "Liquid" Brown and Shar Lila (Uri Pessach) make up the music project named, Junkdna. Aside from their debut on Dezire Records, these guys also set the record for being the very first artists to release tech and deep tracks on the label. Check out "Thank U / Junkfunk", the latest three-tracker of Junkdna on Dezire Records:

Thank U (Original Mix)
The release starts off with "Thank U", a smooth-sailing, deep house anthem. With its sedative atmosphere, groovy bassline, hip-patterned chords, and stuttering vocal samples, "Thank U" definitely claims its spot in chill out sessions.

JunkFunk (Original Mix)
Junkdna's second track is a melting pot of chords, and a very pumping bassline. As described by Dezire Records to having a huge breakdown, JunkFunk is one mean track for the tech lovers out there.

JunkFunk (Eitan Carmi Remix)
Fellow Israelite producer, Eitan Fatali Carmi provides one clean-cut remix for JunkFunk. Having incorporated progressive house elements in the track, Eitan brings a stomping piece to Dezire's front door.

Dezire Records adds "deep" and "tech" to its dictionary as they release "Thank U / JunkFunk"!

Oleg Izergin- Don't Stop

Sunday, June 27, 2010

Dezire Records rounds up another release entitled, "Don't Stop" as they induct Russian producer, Oleg Izergin to the crew. Aside from which, Jozhy K, a Dezire mainstay accepts remix duties for the track. "Don't Stop", the two-track release will be available for purchase starting June 28, 2010!

The original mix of "Don't Stop" is a melting pot of Mango-like basslines, a bass somewhat characterized to be thick-sounding, stubby and ascending in progression. Moreover, a subtle atmosphere akin to Dezza's wraps the track. On the flipside, Jozhy K strips down the track into a chilled soundtrack that embodies crisp and cool atmosphere with a serene guitar solo-- a masterpiece indeed!

One new addition to the roster, and two certified fresh tracks out tomorrow, Dezire Records is definitely on the limelight!

Jozhy K & Angel - Daylight EP

Monday, May 10, 2010

Dezire Records
celebrates its third release with a lovable and emotional vocal track from Ukranian artists, Jozhy K & Angel. Jozhy K is responsible for Dezire's debut release, "Love Story", but he is back for more!

Together with the original and instrumental mixes, remixes from Andre Frauenstein, The Wokadoa, and Dezza are also included. Sit back, and enjoy Dezire Records' newest release, "Daylight", to be released May 14, 2010!

Daylight (Original Mix)
Delivering melodies somewhat similar to the likes of Mango and Thomas Schwartz, while topped off with delightful emotive piano keys akin to Shingo Nakamura's, Daylight (Original Mix) certainly carries the hallmark Dezire Records euphoria! Oh, and the vocals-- just perfect!

Daylight (Instrumental Mix)
If you just would like to enjoy the melodies minus the vocals of the track, then this is for you!

Daylight (Andre Frauenstein Remix)
Young producer based in Johannesburg, South Africa, AF, delivers an alternative remix to Daylight with a more solid structure and a more upbeat delivery.

Daylight (The Wokadoa Remix)
Latvian good buddies, Viktor Fox and Kaspar Kochker make up The Wokadoa, and they turn Daylight into an electrifying piece with thick and grinding basslines! Definitely something different for Dezire Records, Daylight (The Wokadoa Remix) really gives that cutting-edge effect on the label.

Daylight (Dezza Remix)
A release on Dezire Records is not complete without a remix from the boss himself! Derek Silvester, or Dezza, makes a more uplifting version of the track, and like the original, the Dezza Remix really captures the essence of the label.

Third release on the label made possible by Jozhy K & Angel! As more tracks get released, the more melodic they become! Catch this release May 14, 2010 via Dezire Records!

Technical Lovers feat. Trox- Hard to Believe/ Lost In

Friday, April 23, 2010

It was 2007 when the two Russian producers, Eldar Stuff and Bernoulli teamed up to form Technical Lovers. Both producers spent years experimenting and turning knobs to create their own "TL sound". And good enough, Technical Lovers landed on Dezire Records with their release "Hard to Believe/ Lost In" featuring Trox on vocals.

Hard to Believe (Original Mix)

This one is a perfect example of tracks that have that kind of ascending structure; from starting with seemingly gloomy melodies to finishing with a soaring and uplifting climax. Vocals from Trox do complement the upbeat feel of the track, and are also very easy to sing along with.

Hard to Believe (Dezza Remix)

Derek Silvester, half of duo managing Dezire Records, gives a light and a melodious interpretation of Hard to Believe. With feel-good piano vibes and jovial stream of melodies, the Dezza remix is the perfect for listeners who love heartwarming and easy-going tunes.

Hard to Believe (Promonova Remix)

Cheering audiences, big-room chords, hard-kicking beats, haunting vocal hooks, the Russian-based producer, Promonova provides a proper club-friendly version of the track.

Lost In (Original Mix)

The fourth track brings the EP to a close with its emotionally-drenched technical sound. Lost In is subtle, but very meaningful.

Dezire Records celebrates its second release with Hard to Believe/ Lost In. With continued love and support from its fans, the label along with its artists will definitely keep growing.
