Macarize knew that a solo anthem needed some stunning remixes to accompany it, so here it is, “Buzz Kill: the Remixes”!


We first heard David Folkebrant’s sound on the label with his “Rising EP”, the third installment on the label that received great feedback for its novel sound and superb production. Now, we have David once again on Macarize turning the thundering anthem “Buzz Kill” into one upbeat piano-led track!

Eldar Abdulajev aka. EDU, although not a new name in the industry, is a new addition to Macarize, and he has sent-in his reinterpretation of “Buzz Kill” as the second in this release. The EDU remix of “Buzz Kill”caters electrifying and sharp riffs as well as tech-like bass-- an ideal alternative to the original!


Still fresh from his recent debut release on Macarize, Paris-based Egyptian producer, Hazem Beltagui makes a surprise appearance on “Buzz Kill: the Remixes” with another stunning chill out version of “Buzz Kill”! A dreamy and smooth-flowing version bringing to a close this energy-packed release-- all is perfect.

Pesto EP003 - Mediterranean Vibes

Germany-based deep house label Pesto Music launches its third collective EP entitled "Mediterranean Vibes" that features six deep and warm tracks from different artists from the label! 


In this compilation, we get to hear Helly Larson's latest deep-drenched track, "The Sea" and J Kar's ultra-groovy "Rhythm Xord". Aside from which, Pesto brings to shore, Kountdown Project, the triad hailing all the way from Ferrara, Italy with their tribal deep house tune, "Shake This".


Mediterranean Vibes also features fresh grooves from Manchester-based producer, John Sweet  as well as Fair Play Knight. Of course, a Bobby Deep remix on Christos Fourkis's hypnotizing track, "About Me" to finally complete the package!

Hazem Beltagui- Insomnia EP

Hazem Beltagui—an Egyptian producer who now resides in the city of love, Paris—has a lot of stories to tell for all of us, and these stories are all written  in a three-track downtempo and electronica release entitled “Insomnia”, exclusively handed over to Macarize! The three marvelous tracks on this release, “Communication Down”, “222”, “Insomnia” each has stories to tell, and it is up to you to turn to a page and listen through. . .

Now let’s begin. “Communication Down” sets the mood of “Insomnia EP” with heavy and emotional vibes. With a touch of glimmering melodies and mind-levitating atmosphere, Hazem’s first track takes us deeper into his sound.

We slip into the rabbit hole of Hazem’s electronica paradigm with the second track entitled, “222”. Pounding kicks and hazy atmosphere can be expected from “222”, and of course, goosebumps as a byproduct.

Out of the rabbit hole we go with “Insomnia”, the third and last track of this release! As the climax of “Insomnia EP”, “Insomnia” brings renewal to its listeners with its nocturnal vibes, drifting beats, and a Bohemian-sunset inspired atmosphere— truly a remarkable work of art.

PROFF- Interstellar / Steps

Vladimir Ershov, famously known as PROFF in the EDM circuit, has just appeared with another quality release on the world's most-beloved progressive house label, Anjunadeep! The release dubbed as "Interstellar / Steps" spawned two chart-worthy tunes "Interstellar" and "Steps", which in fact currently rank 78th and 77th on the Beatport top 100 progressive house tunes respectively.


"Interstellar" carries the unmistakable sound of PROFF-- electrifying bass perfectly accompanied by a set of mind-levitating atmospheric pads as well as layers of mystical arps. By the time the track hits the breakdown, it just sinks into a sea of bliss! This is the sound of PROFF, the sound loved by the millions of people in the progressive house circuit!


The second track, "Steps" is a bit different through. This time, PROFF comes up with something a bit heavy as embodied by the kicks, but at the same time, still retaining that cool vibe present in most of his productions. As "Steps" reaches the breakdown, it reminds us listeners of euphoric and gravity-defying arp progressions made famous by Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep founders, Above & Beyond. Miguel Libre- Intriphisticated EP

Miguel Libre is part of the youngest and newest generation of electronic music producers in Manila, Philippines, and his name has finally landed on Deeper Manila with his debut release entitled Intriphisticated EP! 

This release yields two originals from Miguel: Intriphisticated and We're From the Deep, while producers Aerodynamic Xpress, DJ X-Cite, Marc Systematic, MicFreak, and label owner Justin de Guzman also contribute their respective remixes for this huge release.

Intriphisticated, a soundtrack made up of edgy stabs, stubby bass, and multi-layered atmospheric pads, is the first in this release. On to the remixes: first we have a remix from the Italian duo Aerodynamic Xpress, expect a pitch-black atmospheric interpretation of the original! DJ X-Cite's remix, on the other hand, carries a handful of elements of the original, but this time, the original gets twisted into a more haunting tune. 

For the third remix, Markovskyh Vladyslav, or simply Marc Systematic, puts forth another stunning adrenaline-pumping techno track! For people who still crave for a harder version of Intriphisticated, MicFreak (Michael Cobaria) made sure you guys get to experience one. MicFreak made sure that his remix on Intriphisticated would blow your heads off, guaranteed.

We're From the Deep, which serves as side B of the release, portrays the smoother yet darker side of Miguel Libre's productions. Drift deep with hypnotizing leads and ultra-groovy bass! Giving the release a soulful close, Justin de Guzman turns the deep sounds of We're From the Deep into one groovy Rhodes-driven body-swingin' piece.
